JAMB RELEASES RESULTS FOR 2025 UTME RESIT CANDIDATES

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) resit, in line with earlier indications that the results would be made available today.

Though no official press release has been issued by the examination body as of the time of filing this report, several candidates have successfully confirmed the availability of their results using the SMS result-checking platform provided by JAMB.

To check their UTME results, candidates are to send “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used to generate their JAMB profile code during registration.

It is important to note that this service comes with a ₦50 charge, which will be deducted from the user’s airtime. Users are therefore advised to ensure they have sufficient credit before attempting to check their results.

At present, the SMS method remains the only functional option for checking the 2025 UTME resit results, as the online portal has yet to be updated with the new batch of results.

The UTME resit was conducted for candidates who experienced technical issues or disruptions during the initial examination window. Many had awaited the release of their results following JAMB’s earlier communication that the results would be out by this date.

Candidates, parents, and guardians are advised to disregard any unofficial result-checking platforms or individuals promising result access or upgrades.
