NDA POSTPONES 77 REGULAR COURSE SCREENING TEST OVER JAMB UTME REWRITES
The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced the postponement of its screening test for applicants to the 77 Regular Course, earlier scheduled to hold on Saturday, May 24, 2025. The decision comes in the wake of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s (JAMB) recent directive mandating a retake of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in some parts of the country.
According to a statement issued by Major Mohammed Maidawa, the Public Relations Officer of the NDA, the academy opted to reschedule the test in a bid to uphold fairness and ensure that no candidate is disadvantaged by the ongoing UTME rewriting exercise.
“The NDA respects the principle of equal opportunity and does not wish to disenfranchise any candidate. A new date for the screening test will be communicated in due course,” the statement read.
The NDA emphasized its commitment to maintaining the integrity of its admissions process while ensuring that all qualified applicants are given a level playing ground. Applicants and members of the public have been advised to stay informed by following the academy’s official social media platforms and regularly checking the NDA admissions portal for updates.
