UTME 2025 NOW TO BEGIN APRIL 24 – JAMB CONFIRMS NEW EXAM DATE
New Date Set to Ease Operational Demands, Says Board
In a significant update for prospective tertiary students, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially moved the commencement date for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to Thursday, April 24, 2025. The exam was initially slated to begin on Friday, April 25.
JAMB explained that the one-day adjustment was necessary to accommodate crucial operational needs involving the Board and its partner agencies.
> “This slight shift is to ensure seamless coordination with key stakeholders involved in the examination process,” said Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor.
As the new date approaches, candidates are strongly urged to print their Examination Notification Slips immediately to confirm their exam date, time, and venue.
Printing of Slips Now Ongoing
Candidates can print their slips by visiting the official JAMB website at [www.jamb.gov.ng](http://www.jamb.gov.ng). From there, they should click on “2025 UTME Slip Printing,” input their registration number, and download the slip for printing.
