UPDATE ON STUDENT NELFUND REFUND

This is to inform all concerned students that the University, has commenced the refund process. However, the refunds are being processed in batches—Batch A and Batch B.

Due to some issues encountered during the submission of account details, the refund for Batch A was temporarily suspended.

Specifically, errors were discovered involving students who were not listed but had submitted account details. As a result, the bursary unit halted Batch A refunds to carry out a physical verification exercise to address these discrepancies.

Batch A physical screening has already commenced and it’s still going on.

But, without a doubt, the refund process for students in Batch B has since resumed prior to the Sallah celebration, and several students have already received their payments. If you are in Batch B and have received your refund, we encourage you to confirm publicly to dispel doubts and misinformation. Keeping silent will only fuel further confusion.

And if you are in batch B and you are qualified for refund and not gotten your refund, you should kindly visit the students account unit of the bursary department, at room A3, Old Admin. Block for complaints and clarifications.

As for students under Batch A, as soon as the bursary unit concludes the verification exercise, refunds will continue accordingly.

Let us be mindful and avoid misleading the public. Refunds are ongoing, and transparency is our priority.
