
LASU Unveils State-of-the-Art Catering Facility
Lagos State University’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, has officially opened the new LASU Catering House, showcasing her commitment to improving staff comfort and service delivery. The modern facility, located next to the LASU Staff Club, boasts a spacious restaurant, office areas, expansive kitchens, and well-equipped toilet facilities, ensuring a top-notch dining experience for students and staff.

The Vice-Chancellor explained that the project was initiated to replace the outdated catering building, which had become unconducive for staff. She emphasized her dedication to enhancing the overall service delivery at the university, highlighting the importance of providing a comfortable environment for staff and students.
The new Catering House is part of the university’s growing list of infrastructure projects under Prof. Olatunji-Bello’s leadership. This development is a testament to her commitment to enhancing the quality of services and facilities available to the university community.
In a related development, LASU has also unveiled a new Faculty of Computing with five departments: Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science, ICT, and Software Engineering.
