2025 DIRECT ENTRY REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS EXTENDED INDEFINITELY — JAMB
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has denied rumors that the 2025 Direct Entry registration will close on April 7, 2025. According to JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the registration process, which started on March 12, 2025, is still ongoing and will continue until a formal closing date is announced.
The board’s decision to keep the registration period open is to allow for thorough investigations into candidates suspected of presenting fake A-Level results. Several candidates have already been arrested or are under investigation for attempting to gain admission with forged academic credentials.

JAMB warns candidates with questionable credentials to refrain from participating in the registration process, as the board’s systems can identify discrepancies. The board also urges those who gained admission using fraudulent credentials to voluntarily withdraw, as investigations now include students already admitted into tertiary institutions.
JAMB reaffirms its commitment to maintaining the integrity of Nigeria’s admission process, warning that anyone found guilty of forgery or impersonation will be prosecuted and blacklisted from future academic opportunities.
