BAYERO UNIVERSITY KANO (BUK) ANNOUNCES MAIN GATE CLOSURE AND ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENT AT THE OLD CAMPUS

NOTICE OF MAIN GATE CLOSURE AND ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENT AT THE OLD CAMPUS

As part of the University’s ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and enhance the aesthetic appeal of our campuses, the main gate of the Old Campus will undergo remodeling. Consequently, the main gate will be closed for use effective March 13, 2025.

To ease movement in and out of the campus, an alternative gate near the Power House has been designated for use by all members of the University community and visitors.

Staff, students and visitors, are to take note of this temporary arrangement and plan their movements accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to improve the university facilities.

The remodeling work is expected to be completed as soon as possible, and notices to that effect will be passed on to notify the community once the main gate is reopened.
