LASU RESUMES ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES AMIDST NASU-LASU STRIKE
#SegioCampusReports reports that Lagos State University (LASU) has officially resumed academic activities for the 2024/2025 session, following the 2024 Christmas and New Year break.
However, the resumption has been marred by a strike action declared by the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU), LASU Chapter.
According to a statement released by MRS Oluwayemisi Thomas-Onashile, the Coordinator of Centre for Information and Public Relations, LASU., all staff unions, except NASU, have resumed their duties. The NASU strike action is in protest of the non-payment of the 50% counterpart fund for the differentials of the 25%/35% salary increment.
The management has appreciated the understanding of all staff and students and wishes everyone a smooth and successful resumption.
