AHMADU BELLO UNIVERSITY (ABU) RELEASES CHANGE OF COURSE FORM FOR THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has issued a special bulletin regarding the upload of O’Level results and change of programmes on the JAMB portal for the 2024/2025 admission process. According to the bulletin, some candidates failed to upload their O’Level results, and are advised to do so promptly at any JAMB CBT center.

Additionally, the Central Admission Committee discovered that some candidates have incorrect subject combinations for their chosen programmes. Affected candidates are advised to change to suitable programmes on the JAMB portal or visit the university’s website for guidance.

Available Programmes for Change of Course

Candidates who are not admitted to their initial programmes can change to other available programmes, including:

– Agricultural and Biological Sciences: Agricultural Extension, Adult Education, Botany, and more
– Engineering: Agricultural & Bio-Resources Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and more
– Physical Sciences: Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Physics, and more
– Social Sciences: Actuarial Science, Insurance, Finance, Marketing, and more

Candidates with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics as JAMB combination can change to any of the above engineering programmes.

Important Deadlines and Contacts

– Changing of programmes should be done before December 30, 2024.
– Staff with biological children requests should check the status of their requests on the notice boards at the 1st and 2nd floors of the Senate Building.
