OSUN STATE UNIVERSITY (UNIOSUN) RELEASES REVISED ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

Osun State University has released its academic calendar for the 2024/2025 session. The calendar outlines the key dates for the upcoming academic year, including resumption dates, examination periods, and breaks.

According to the calendar, the university will resume for the 2024/2025 academic session on Monday, December 16, 2024, with the commencement of Harmattan semester lectures for fresh and returning students. Orientation for fresh students will take place from Monday, December 16, to Wednesday, December 18, 2024, while matriculation will hold on Friday, December 20, 2024.

The university will observe a Christmas and New Year break from Monday, December 23, 2024, to Sunday, January 5, 2025, with resumption on Monday, January 6, 2025.

Other key dates in the calendar include the end of lectures on Friday, February 21, 2025, lecture free week from Monday, February 24, to Friday, February 28, 2025, and Harmattan semester examinations from Monday, March 3, to Friday, March 21, 2025.

The Rain semester will commence on Monday, April 24, 2025, with lectures ending on Friday, July 18, 2025. Rain semester examinations will take place from Monday, July 21, to Friday, August 8, 2025.

The university’s 15th convocation ceremonies will hold from Thursday, September 25, to Saturday, September 27, 2025.
