MODIBBO ADAMA UNIVERSITY (MAU) VICE CHANCELLOR APPROVES THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THREE FACULTIES
The University under the able leadership of Prof. Ibrahim Umar has just approved the establishment of three new faculties to further consolidate the conventional status of the university and bring varieties of degrees closer to the people. These faculties are; Faculty of Communication, Faculty of Arts and faculty of Computing.
The three faculties will instantly give birth to 18 new degree programs in the university. These new degree programs may include the following; Mass communication, Broadcasting, Information and Media Science, Strategic Communication, Public Relations, Advertising, Film and Multimedia Studies, English Language, Language and Linguistics, Arabic Studies, Religious Studies, Language and Communication Arts, Cyber security, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, etc.
In another development, the VC in his charismatic move, secured major intervention programs from the World Bank and Federal government of Nigeria.
