LASU DECLARES PUBLIC HOLIDAY TO CELEBRATE ISESE DAY

LASU MANAGEMENT DIRECTS COMPLIANCE AS LASG DECLARES TUESDAY, 20TH AUGUST 2024, WORK-FREE DAY TO CELEBRATE ISESE DAY

The Lagos State Government in a circular with reference number: CIR/HoS/’24/Vol.1/066 and dated 19th August 2024 signed by the Head of Service, Mr Bode Agoro, has declared Tuesday, 20th August 2024, a work-free day, in order to commemorate the Year 2024 ‘Isese Day’.

In compliance with the above directive, the Lagos State University Management has therefore directed all staff (Teaching and Non-Teaching) to observe Tuesday, 20th August 2024, as Work-Free Day, and resume work on Wednesday, 21st August 2024 at 8:00 a.m. prompt.

Students and other concerned members of the university are to also NOTE that by this directive, there will be no examinations on Tuesday, 20th August 2024. The 2023/2024 second semester examination timetable has, therefore, been adjusted to end on 17th September, 2024 as against 15th September, 2024.
