UNIABUJA Microfinance Bank commences operations after securing CBNs license and approval


The University of Abuja Microfinance Bank has received approval and licensing from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) had commenced operations starting Friday, June 14, 2024.

 

The bank’s managing director, Mohammed Garba, announced the approval and attributed the success to the perseverance and determination of the vice-chancellor, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah. He highlighted the significant role played by the outgoing Vice-Chancellor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of UniAbuja Microfinance Bank, Professor Na’Allah, alongside the dedication and commitment of the board and management during challenging times.

 

Garba assured the University of Abuja community, including students and staff, that the bank will provide high-quality services tailored to their specific needs and expectations.
