INSTITUTE OF CHILD HEALTH COLLEGE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES UNIVERSITY OF BENIN, BENIN CITY

Invites Interested Individuals To Apply For A DIPLOMA IN EARLY CHILD HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT

ENTRY REQUIREMENT:

(i) At least 4 credits in WASC/GCE O/L, NECO or such other equivalent at not more than two sittings. These should include Credit in English language and two science subjects. A pass in mathematics is required.

(ii) At least 2 years teaching or working experience in a preprimary institution /arrangement may be an advantage

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

Anyone who works with children for example teachers (especially those in preprimary institutions), owners of/ workers in preprimary institutions (crèches, kindergarten) nannies, nurses,/Community health extension workers who nurse children and those working in paediatric wards. Those working in non-governmental organisations that focus on children can also apply.

(i) Can be used for direct entry into degree courses in Faculty of Education and Institute of Education

(ii) Enables you to work in care facilities for children outside Nigeria.
