LASU ACTIVATES LACACA PORTAL FOR DIPLOMA, SANDWICH, SCHOOL OF PART TIME STUDIES, POSTGRAUATE SCHOOL AND CONVERSION PROGAMMES; PEGS DEADLINE
COMPLETION OF LACACA OPERATIONS BY ALL CATEGORIES OF ADMITTED STUDENTS AS A MANDATORY REQUIREMENT FOR THE ISSUANCE OF MATRICULATION NUMBERS
The LASU Central Admissions Clearance App (LACACA) is an online clearance operation for all categories of admitted candidates into the Lagos State University where candidates’ suitability for the programmes to which they have been offered admissions would be duly verified; as such the LACACA operation is a mandatory procedure that all categories of admitted students must pass through before they could be eventually issued matriculation numbers.
Further from the above, admitted candidates into the following programmes are, therefore, enjoined to commence the LACACA operations before midnight of Friday 15th March 2024; and should note that failure to comply with the directive will lead to forfeiture of their provisional admissions.
i. Postgraduate students admitted in the 2022/2023 academic session
ii. Sandwich degree programme students admitted in the 2023 modular year
iii. School of Part-time students admitted in the 2023/2024 academic session
iv. Conversion degree programme students admitted in the 2022/2023 academic session
v. Diploma students admitted in the 2022/2023 academic session
It is therefore pertinent to note that:
i. Issuance of matriculation numbers to all the above-listed admitted students’ categories will be based on 100% completion on the LACACA platform.
ii. Those students who have already been assigned matriculation numbers (especially the PG students) but are yet to commence or complete the LACACA operations to 100% will not have access to their academic profiles.
iii. Programme coordinators are enjoined to educate admitted candidates under their care to commence and complete the LACACA operations before the set deadline.
iv. Admitted students are to note that the LACACA operation is time-bound and are to ensure that they submit all necessary documents before the deadline.
v. LACACA operation is a 100% online workflow process.
