AHMAN PATEGI UNIVERSITY (APU) GRADUATES 36 DIPLOMA STUDENTS
As part of its contribution to developing the manpower of Nigerians, Ahman Pategi College of Advanced Advanced Studies has graduated 36 graduands.
At the graduation ceremony that held on February 21, 2024 at Ahman Pategi University, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mahfouz Adedimeji, congratulated the students on their success while urging to not to relent in their pursuit of excellence.
Speaking on the theme, “Living is Learning, Learning is Leading”, the Vice Chancellor admonished the graduands to continue to develop themselves academically noting that learning is a life-long endeavour that is not limited to what happens in the classroom.
He emphasized the importance of perseverance and encouraged the graduands to continue their pursuit of knowledge, extending their academic journey even till they obtain their degrees and beyond.
The Vice Chancellor drew attention to the distinction between the living and the dead, emphasizing that the former are characterized by their continuous pursuit of knowledge while the latter do not take learn. He reminded the graduands that as alumni of Ahman Pategi College of Advanced Studies, the journey of learning should be sustained because it is through it that they will become leaders.
The event was attended by key figures including the University Bursar, Dr. Musbau Oladejo, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Social and Management Sciences, Professor J.F. Olorunfemi, and the Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Abayomi Ayanshola, as well as other staff and students.
The APCAS programme is tailored at equipping students with advanced training that will qualify them for direct entry into Ahman Pategi University and other universities in Nigeria.
As the graduands embark on the next phase of their academic and professional journey, they carry with them not only the knowledge and skills acquired during their time at APCAS but also the values of resilience, determination, and a thirst for knowledge instilled in them by their alma mater.
The ceremony concluded with a sense of pride and anticipation for the bright futures that await these graduates as they step out into the world as ambassadors of learning and leadership.
