AHMADU BELLO UNIVERSITY (ABU) ISSUES IMPORTANT NOTICE TO UTME/DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has issued an update regarding the ongoing 2025 Post-UTME/Direct Entry screening registration, addressing complaints from candidates experiencing portal-related challenges.

Identified Issues Include:

• Candidates from Abuja/FCT and Nasarawa State unable to register.

• Candidates who changed institutions to ABU not reflecting on the portal.

• Applicants for Sustainable Social Development and Sustainable Environmental Standard unable to register.

• Programme changes not updating on the portal.

• Other sundry technical challenges.

ABU’s Advice to Candidates:

• Keep trying to register as the University continues fixing the portal issues.

• Those still unable to register should report to the Iya Abubakar Institute of ICT (IAIICT) Centre on their scheduled test date for assistance.

• Registration will remain open until the final day of the screening exercise.
