ADAMAWA STATE UNIVERSITY (ADSU) RELEASES POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMME ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
The College of Postgraduate Studies, Adamawa State University, Mubi, has announced the commencement of admissions into its postgraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. The announcement was contained in the latest edition of The Scope released for November 22 to 28, 2025.
According to the notice, qualified applicants are invited to apply for various PGD, Master’s and PhD programmes across the university’s faculties, including Agriculture, Arts, Education, Science, Administration and Management Sciences, Law and Social Sciences. Each department listed the specific areas available under PGD, M.Sc., M.A., LL.M., M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees.
The institution outlined the admission requirements clearly. PGD applicants must possess at least a Third Class Degree or HND with Upper Credit. Candidates for Master’s programmes must hold a minimum of Second Class Lower Degree in relevant fields, while some departments accept HND Upper Credit holders with professional qualifications. Ph.D. and M.Phil. applicants are expected to meet higher academic thresholds, including strong CGPAs in previous postgraduate studies.
The notice emphasised that all applicants must present a minimum of five O’Level credits including Mathematics and English Language.
Application is strictly online through the university portal at pgadsu.admissions.cloud, with fees fixed at N15,000 for PGD and M.Sc., and N26,000 for M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes. Completed application forms must be printed and submitted to the Secretary, College of Postgraduate Studies, on or before March 20, 2026.
The university stressed that no application will be processed without a copy of the applicant’s transcript, completed form, and relevant credentials submitted to the College and respective departments. Candidates are also advised to ensure their academic transcripts are forwarded directly to the Secretary via the official email or physical address.
The notice was signed by Dr. Hassan S. Tanko, Secretary of the College of Postgraduate Studies, who also provided contact numbers for further enquiries.
