UNIUYO RELEASES 2025 BATCH B TRCN PQE RESULTS
The Faculty of Education, University of Uyo, has released the results of the 2025 Batch B Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Pre-Qualifying Examination held on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
According to the notice issued by the Faculty Officer on behalf of the Dean, the full list of successful candidates has been posted on the Faculty of Education notice board. All candidates who passed are directed to begin registration for induction, certification and licensing without delay.
The faculty also released the approved payment schedule for the various categories.
Candidates with Master’s qualification under Category A are to pay ₦23,000 for induction/certification and ₦33,000 for licensing, totalling ₦55,000.
Those with Master’s qualification under Category B will pay ₦19,000 for induction/certification and ₦27,000 for licensing, bringing the total to ₦46,000.
Candidates with B.Sc (Ed) or PGDE qualification under Category C are to pay ₦16,000 for induction/certification and ₦21,000 for licensing, amounting to ₦37,000.
The payments, which remain valid for three years, must be made into the Faculty of Education (TRCN) account at UNIUYO Microfinance Bank, Account Number: 0140402395.
After payment, candidates are to collect registration forms from the Faculty Officer, complete and return them in a file jacket. Each file must contain copies of required credentials and two passport photographs with white background. Candidates are also to clearly write their name, phone number, examination number and national identity number on both the forms and the file jacket.
The deadline for registration is Friday, February 27, 2026, while the tentative date for induction has been fixed for Thursday, March 19, 2026.
The notice further warns that the PQE result is valid for only one year. Candidates who fail to complete the process within the validity period will be required to re-register and re-take the examination. Only submitted application forms will be processed for induction and certification.
The announcement, dated November 3, 2025, was issued by the Faculty Officer on behalf of the Dean, Faculty of Education.
