BAZE UNIVERSITY ABUJA RELEASES POST-UTME ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
Baze University, Abuja, one of Nigeria’s top-rated private universities known for its academic excellence and modern infrastructure, has officially opened its doors for admission into its undergraduate degree programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a statement released by the University, applications are now being accepted from qualified candidates across Nigeria and beyond. The process, which has been made deliberately simple and accessible, is aimed at encouraging a stress-free application experience for all prospective students, regardless of their level of digital literacy.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for admission, candidates must have sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and attained the JAMB-prescribed cut-off marks. Additionally, candidates are expected to ensure that their UTME subject combinations align with their desired programmes at Baze University.
Prospective students who did not initially choose Baze University as their first-choice institution during the JAMB registration can still apply. However, they must first process a change of institution to Baze University through any JAMB office or accredited centre before proceeding with the University’s application steps.
Baze University also conducts its Post-UTME screening exercise for all admission seekers, and admission offers will not be granted without participation in the screening.
Minimum Admission Requirements
Applicants are required to have a minimum of five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings in SSCE, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB. The remaining subjects must be relevant to the chosen course of study.
Application Process
The University offers both online and offline application options. Interested candidates are advised to visit the university’s application portal to apply and find further details under the “Documents” tab.
Notably, Baze University operates a flexible admission policy without strict deadlines, meaning prospective students can submit their applications at any time. However, the University urges applicants to ensure that all their information is accurate and complete, warning that any false information could lead to withdrawal of admission.
Applicants may apply for multiple programmes, but are advised to accept only one offer once all application outcomes have been received.
Post-Application Process
After submitting an application, candidates will receive an automatic email confirmation. The University’s Undergraduate Admissions Office will then forward the application to the appropriate academic department for review. Most candidates can expect a response within one to two weeks after submission.
For further enquiries, applicants are encouraged to visit the University’s official website or contact the admissions office directly.
