UNIVERSITY OF MAIDUGURI (UNIMAID) ISSUES ADVISORY ON CHANGE OF PROGRAMME FOR THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION
The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has released an important update for candidates who applied for admission into the institution. According to a statement from the Office of the Registrar, the quotas for several programmes have been filled.
The filled programmes include College of Medical Sciences, Education, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Law, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine. Specifically, programmes such as MBBS, BDS, Medical Lab. Science, Physiotherapy, and Nursing Science, among others, have reached their admission quotas.
However, the university has announced that qualified candidates who are willing to change their programme can consider alternative options. These available programmes include Agriculture, Arts, Education, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Life Sciences, Management Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Social Sciences.
Some of the specific available programmes include B. General Agriculture, B.A. Arabic, B.A. English, (link unavailable) Ed. Biology, B. Eng. Agricultural Engineering, and (link unavailable) Accounting, among others.
Candidates who wish to change their programme are advised to submit their requests to the Admissions Officer. The university management has assured that the admission process will be transparent and merit-based.
