FULafia Cottage Hospital Gets NHIA Accreditation

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) community and the general public have been informed that the FULafia Cottage Hospital, formerly known as the FULafia Health Centre, has been accredited by the National Health Insurance Agency (NHIA).

According to a statement issued by the Office of the Registrar, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, the accreditation ensures that staff and students of the University will have access to quality healthcare services under the NHIA scheme.

The statement called on interested members of the University’s community to enroll in the NHIA scheme at the University Cottage Hospital, located at the Permanent Site Campus.

This development is expected to improve the healthcare services available to the FULafia community, and provide them with access to quality medical care.

The accreditation is a significant milestone for the University, and demonstrates its commitment to providing a supportive and healthy environment for its staff and students.
